"Liberal" does not seem like the right term to use. And it's ironic how the two races that were treated the worst in pass generations: Blacks and Latinos, think this video is justifiable.
WIth blacks, it's pretty much trickled down from generation to generation with traces all the way back to slavery. If anyone got out of line, the master was there to whip them back into shape and that was the only way most blacks learned how to discipline their children.
Why we're still engulfed in that mindset is beyond me.
this is not that serious, if more kids still got beatings like this they would grow up with more respect and not be up in the club 24/7 doin god knows what with everyone

and its not like its scars the child
What's wrong with going to the club?
I spend my entire weekend there.
Why should people get beaten for having a good time...
Ugh feel sick watching girls get beat
We could have least seen the twerk vid but I'm sure the pain from that beating wouldn't have lasted more than a day.
I always fear having a daughter. I don't think I could raise my hand to a little girl even if she was in the wrong.
Like i said before, beatings don't work on every child. Please stop assuming the only way to make your child have respect for others is to beat them. That's a...ridculous statement if I must say,
And who's to say the beating doesn't scar them? You don't personally know every child who gets one, so that point was invalid.

i dont mean it like that i ment maybe kids would have more respect if they still got disciplined, people can say whatever they want about blacks/latino/asians but one things for sure they always grow up with 100% respect for there parents

*fixed
You can also discipline a kid without using fists or a belt.
You can talk, communicate you know.

I grew up in actual Latin America, not some ghetto in the States, and I can count on one hand the amount of people my age that I know that received any kind of physical punishment from their parents, and it's extremely rare to find someone that doesn't have the utmost respect for their parents
People have different ways of disciplining their children. My parents used to whoop my ass whenever I acted out and never ever took it far enough to call it "abuse". I also look back and be like, I deserved it cause if I was not whooped I would have walked all over them and do what the hell I wanted. It's what a person believes in to be honest. If a person believes time out and no dessert for a week works then ok.

!
I guess it's because i'm black. Getting an ass whopping for doing something wrong was pretty common growing up.

True. Completely true and same with me.
People need to learn how to be good parents by not hitting or doing anything like this to the children.
