I mean... here on ATRL it's understandable, not everyone it's a fluent english speaker, but at least they trying to talk and get experience to be better.
But in my native tongue, I just can't talk with someone who doesn't have a great grammar, we already don't have that many interesting people, and they can't even hold a conversation with a understandable grammar? That's the pits, I can't socialize with this type of person. They don't put effort in talking right but they still on facebook trying to be cult and all

I used to, but I get so ****ing annoyed when people correct my grammar. So I stopped.

As long as it isn't illiterate, I'm fine. Most of my friends talk in chatspeak anyway.

But if somebody calls someone else out on having bad grammar or something, while they failed too, then I have a problem.

Only when like it's a teacher or adult. I literally **** my pants whenever I'm like reading through a teacher's email or online instructions, and I see obvious grammar mistakes. Like smfh.

Not really, only when it matters though, like academics. Other than that I could care less, but I can't with people who talk like they text though. Especially in a professional setting.

True, but that's incorrect reasoning. Many collective nouns refer to groups of people and are not capitalized. Nazi should be capitalized because it's a proper noun.



There's nothing wrong with that. It's part of ATRL's lingo, and is a purposeful temporary deviation from English grammar to German.

I'm just kidding, of course. I don't really mind simple mistakes like that, but people who are obviously illiterate annoy me. Specifically, it's the worst when people capitalize every letter or put a space between words and punctuation. I understand when it's someone whose first language is not English, but when my teachers, peers, etc. have terrible grammar, it bugs me.

Though, do not let me catch you correct typos within an otherwise flawless grammatical sentence and act like you're the queen. That bugs me, like, it's a simple mistake!
