Poor Gaga. I feel bad for her. I know she probably feels like she's letting down her fans. She thought she was doing a good thing by letting her fans in and giving them details about ARTPOP. I think she should stop hyping her eras so early. The same thing happened with Born this Way. People were waiting on it for so long. The teasing can do more harm than good. It alienates the fans more than connects them.
I think what a lot of people (including myself) have forgotten is exactly how big of a project ARTPOP is going to be. I personally think the app is what's most time consuming bc there's a lot of engineering that goes into making an app, especially since they're going to be loading it with the LM social media network, photos, videos, music from the album that I'm pretty sure we all know isn't completely finished yet. that, and the fact that once the lead single is released, the fans are going to want a music video so she might be working on that as well. all the backlash is kind of understandable, more so for the fans who had tickets to the cancelled dates of the BTWB, but at the same time would you rather have an album/era that was rushed and unpolished as opposed to one that will snatch wigs and leave bald spots? just a thought.
