"My billionaire sister, Madonna, doesn't care if I die"

Madonna’s brother Anthony Ciccone has accused the pop diva of not caring about him being dead or alive.
The 56-year-old man is a homeless alcoholic, who has lived on the freezing streets of Traverse City, Michigan, for almost three years, the New York Daily news reported.
Anthony added that the Madonna lives in her own world and the siblings never loved each other.
Anthony spends most of his time drinking alcohol from paper bags, just 12 miles away from the Ciccone family Vineyard, where his father and step-mother live.
According to the UK paper, Anthony was recently thrown in jail for a month after an incident in which he was drunk and was swearing at kids in front of a church.
Anthony also blamed his family for his miserable state saying that he had no family backup.
He said that he would rather be working but is helpless under the circumstances, as his family has stood against him completely.
But neighbour Kathy Mateyer, who works in the Ciccone family vineyard’s wine tasting room, said that the pop singer and Anthony’s father were devastated by his failure to get help for his alcoholism, and refused to allow him back until he stopped drinking
Mateyer further told that Ciccone would sneak into the cellars and he would lie on the floor, open up one of the big tanks, and drink the wine with a glass and that he would not take help from his family.
Meteyer also said that Madonna paid for her brother’s rehab stints “several times.”

To be honest, she is not obligated to take care of her (alcoholic) family member.

She worked her way to the top all by herself, I mean, why should she care about her family if she doesn't want to? It's her business, but this senior here has always taken advantge of her sister's fame to get one of his own, but all in vain... Madonna tried to help him and he turned his back on her back in the day, so it's all his fault, not Madonna's

Get over it and get your life on track, your family doesn't have to help you, you should take care of yourself FOR yourself, not for others. If you want to get your life on track then you can, even without help. Also, this just screams >>

Damn she could at least help him on his feet.
Sure she's not obligated to do a thing but that's what you say to strangers. He is a blood relative, and although she helped for a few stints of rehab, she should honestly help him get a job or something and start him off with shelter. After he gets on his feet and become independent then she could ignore him

This is the brother who is on crack and living under a bridge, but refuses to get help from his billionaire sister instead wants her to support his habit, right?

It would be nice for her to help him out. But, he isn't entitled to one cent and the fact that he included the word 'billionaire' in the quote just goes to show the hunger for money.

Christopher Ciccone said on Stern that she doesn't help out any of her family. He wasn't bitter about it but I think it speaks to her character.

Madonna always trying to help him and her family.But all they say is ''I don't want dirty money''.Do you guys even know their history.Madonna was alone all the time, by the time she's crowned Queen of Pop.She literally don't have a family anymore.MADONNA DID help her brother pid for his rehab , its just her brother turn her back on her.Geez, not all of you know what's behind the story and history, stop using the plastic judgement with 'she's not obligated but its her brother bla bla bla'' .
