For those who don't know LaChapelle, there was controversy surrounding Rihanna's S&M video and one of LaChapelle's earlier photograph sets.

He was also known for working with Gaga earlier in her career.

Well yeah, Melina came up with the concept but surely Rihanna gave her approval so it's partly her fault and at the end of the day it's a video for her single so people will blame her.
