I'm excited for that because it gives her Pop fans something to enjoy.
Honestly, I doubt she's working with Carly.
The guy that tweeted that they were together said nothing about being in the studio, music, etc. & Carly IS performing at the season finale of Idol so it was probably promo for that.
If Nicki can keep the hood features, but also add a tinge of Where Dem Girls At/Till The World Ends Remix features sometimes, I'd be satisfied with that. She did a perfect mix and match in 2011.
So you just want her to be local again and just lose all of the Pop fans that she's gained globally?
I don't see the problem with giving the Pop fans music through Pop features.
This & crossovers.
The Pop fans would rather be here for a few Hip-Hop singles with crossover & mainstream appeal that they can bop to than the occasional Pop feature here & there IMO.
Let's just hope Nicki plays her cards right this album & makes music that anyone can love & listen to.

Her manager tweeted "good stuff". It's assumed that they were in the studio together recording.

I'm going to bite my tongue (and won't be messy) and just say SS made the IFPI list and has sold 7.2M singles WW and is still charting on iTunes in

Nobody is saying her next album has to have heavy Euro smashes on them. But the fact that she's selling out arenas globally because of the Pop is proof that she can't just abandon it, and she won't. Like Bolbi said her 2011 feature era was a perfect mix of both.

Y'all want the next album to be a masterpiece don't you? Have high acclaim don't you? Remember she doesn't have an album that has a +80 score on Metacritic.
Her manager tweeted "good stuff". It's assumed that they were in the studio together recording.
Hm, I know.
We'll just have to see though. I'm not necessarily sure that I'd want her to collab with Carly though, I'd like it more if she collabed with more established Pop artists.

I see what you mean, but Call Me Maybe was a monster (even if the other singles couldn't replicate that) and either way it would be a + for Nicki.
Okay what do you guys want for the next album? Like honestly.
Lyricism. I want IBP, Here I Am, Autobiography lyricism.
Production that is flawfree
NO RATCHET MESSES, although i love them.
No more than 1 or 2 sexual songs.
R&B undertones
3-4 features
I want a GRAMMY WINNING album.
