Well Javan if you would've known, her hairstylist of four years ended his position to launch a TV show and she hired the same man who does Tyra's, Jennifer Hudson's, Iman's, and many other's hair.
That's why you won't see the same lacefronts or even wigs that she's had from 09-12.
And she's been on a McQueen and Cavalli kick for the longest, hence the dresses. She's also said in an interview that for 2013, less is more. I don't know how that equates to sophisticated to you but.
