The funniest part is that Jay Z & him were bragging about popping bottles for his 1 million selling record but it never happened

yup so predictable. It was advertised as an R&B album because they were having hopes that it would break Confessions record, when it didn't its back to it being called a Pop album

They didn't claim that for Usher because he would have been breaking 2 records. "Biggest first week R&B album of all time" and "Biggest first week for a Pop male artist"

But Billboard didn't write this article. This is from Paul at Yahoo!'s chart watch. Billboard, per usual, only notes "male solo singer," placing him behind Usher and Garth. Y'all get so fired up any chance you get with them, even when wrong.
