Beyonce, or Queen Bey we should say, clearly isn’t aware of her positioning in the pop world, as she reveals she’s always wanted to be a leader despite being top of the food chain in the music industry.
In an interview to promote her latest project, a starring role in animated film, Epic, Beyonce revealed why she was so keen to sign up for the part. ‘Once I learned about my character Queen Tara I just had to be part of it,’ she says. ‘What I like most about Tara is that she sets a great example for the people she protects. I’ve always wanted to be a queen.’
In our eyes she’s most certainly the queen of pop!
Having a superstar of Beyonce’s caliber in the film clearly echoes Epic’s ‘big’ theme she adds: ‘Everything in this movie is big, the characters, the action, this is one time the film really lives up to its title.’
We hope so! And with stars including Amanda Seyfried, Colin Farrell and Chris O’Dowd also lending their voices to the film, we imagine it will be epic…
In this dream are the Rihanna stans not embarrassingly obsessed over Beyonce?
It's almost pathetic how they're trying to drag her over this.
Just when you thought a fanbase couldn't anymore thirstier, they prove us wrong.
I mean, the Slavy will forever be angry.
It's not healthy.
