Recently we have seen Ariana Grande rise in fame. She got her own spinoff show and now she seems to have a hit single on her hands. Now my question is, Is she becoming real competition for Demi and Selena with them all being in the same age bracket and gearing their music to basically the same people?

I think she has greater potential because many people don't know she's apart of the Disney/Nick crowd. I think its a good thing, the track is flawless and I really want to see her get big.

She's surpassed Selena, but now it's her and Demi decking it out.

Also she has one thing going for her. She won't be stuck in the kiddie image as much because she wasn't welll known to the public outside of little kids and their parents.

Let's wait till she releases a GOLD album first. Though at the rate I fell in love with Ariana's song she may easily surpass Selena in the coming weeks.
