I thought people would have this mentality - but it's not!
That's the crazy part - a couple months ago this would be so insanely impossible that it would be pointless to even consider. But with the new streaming weight on the Hot 100 is would be so easy for a fanbase of this size if we could mobilize properly! 103 million streams total brought the Harlem Shake to a lead over the very strong #2 by a magnitude of 3.5 times. A mere fraction of that, even a tenth, could launch it at #10. At 28 million streams this week with almost no radio airplay and weakening sales, HS still holds at #1 with a decent lead. The #2 song only has 9.5 million streams, showing what the average would be for the top streaming song. This fanbase, if it wanted to, could easily outdo that. I'm not suggesting some psychotic #1 re-entry, just a modest #10 as our goal.
