With all these recent events, I'm really afraid everything's leading into World War III.
From North Korea threatening to attack the US and bombard Washington, to the US stocking up with millions of guns and amo, Barack Obama's first ever visit to Isreal after 7 years.

Not to mention the whole Cyprus economy fall out. After years of war between Israel and Turkey, Israel has apologized to Turkey. Not a good sign for my country Cyprus, with everything happening now, the Turks are seeking such opportunity to declare war against us and take the entire country of Cyprus under them.
In 1974, they attacked us and took half of the island. At the time, we also had serious government issues and we were on the verge of destruction, and that was their opportunity to attack us and take half of the island.
I'm afraid that's happening again now.

My country, Cyprus, is the island in yellow. That photo is how Turks are seeing the Turkish empire and how they will expand. Currently, they hold half of the island, but if you see the photo, the entire island is under the yellow color.

Also, Germany is currently ruling the entire Europe. They are the biggest power in Europe and they control everything and everyone.


All these events could possibly lead to a new World War. What do you guys think?

I thought about it lately too because of the 1st reason you cited but I'm sure - at least I hope - things will be settled before they took such a drastic turn.

The war happened here was terrible. My parents still talk about how close they were to die, they were like 5-6. I've zero idea about politics and stuff but Cyprus can't handle such war again. I'm not going to go all over the war but what we were taught in schools that there were 3 years of settlement but Greece didn't want that so they attacked the Turks on some Christmas night. So Turkey had to fight back. Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't know what Turkey have on mind but it's not right.
