Princess of Salsa "La India" Was Assaulted by her Boyfriend

San Juan police were notified by a neighbor who heard screams. Linda Viera Caballero was found in her boyfriend's residence and was rushed to the hospital where she was diagnosed with a broken nose and a hematoma on her forehead with internal bleeding
Javier Padilla González was detained for investigation of which police suspect domestic violence is involved in this case. The suspect also has scratches on his face and it is known the couple has had past domestic violence incidents. Although La India has denied she was beaten by her boyfriend, he remains under arrest until investigated. She stated she was attacked by gringos.
