If I recall well "Hands All Over" was at the 700k range in the US before they re-released the album with MLJ.

I thought Hands all Over struggled to go gold

I think it's very impressive how they have been smashing since 2002, they are definitely one of the biggest pop acts.
2002...I thought there first hit happened at the end of 2003. I remember buying it as a sophomore in college. Harder to breathe.
