I think I can solve this econometrically. We have the dependent variable y, in this case the general quality of ATRL's user base. Then we have independent variables x which explain changes in y. I think if one were to perform regression analysis on this particular model, one would find that the quality of today's pop music and the number of Asians and agnostics are positively correlated with y, and things like the number of South Americans, African Americans and fans of Kanye West are negatively correlated with y. It's simple math.
