I wasn't aware that suggesting someone comb their hair was a valid opinion. When she puts it up in a bun I don't hear all of these comb your bleeping hair comments. I do hear people making a big deal out of it but it's quite foolish to dedicate your time to that. You all just can't get enough of shading your faves. Tortured, indeed.
She brought on herself to have "fans" shade her behind a keyboard about combing her hair. But, yes, at you using someone you are a "fan" of to justify the shallowness of it all. I wasn't aware she was selling sex in between eras and in candids for you to make that comparison. Your opinion which isn't valid is that her hair appear uncombed shows how truly lazy she is...your opinion is hilarious. Is that's the best you have? So, her looking like that makes you feel as though she is not taking the Vegas deal seriously, she's not going to take her 8th album seriously, she's not going to take her career seriously anymore. Do you feel as though she is going to do her album shoots, photo shoots for press and magazines and attend awards with this "past the point down to earth look." She made a career being young, hot and beautiful. I don't think she is ugly today. I guess those that make their career when they are young better watch out because if they get old they should just dissipate into thin air.
I don't get how fans can hold her to a standard she used before yet when someone brings up her album sales and single sales as well as tour gross of recent there's always an excuse of been there done that or she's 15 years into her career or she did more than that at her peak. Why defend her to outsiders when you shade her worse than outsiders.
Maybe it's about being realistic. It's been quite clear for years that she is not at all interesting in looking a certain way to go grocery shopping...yet people STILL need to shade her. You will be doing that for the next 10+ years...but then again a tortured fan would enjoy that in a weird way.

Britney has had 3 consistent hits for all of her eras so I'd expect nothing less this era.
I wish she would put out a summer smash. This would really set the era off well. Most established artists with a summer smash typical fare better in their eras. A late fall/early winter smash is so choppy.
