Rihanna and Beyonce aren't even comparable are performers. Aside from the fact they're both black women and they sing primarily pop songs, their careers, personal lives, ability, history and legacy are in completely different lanes.

This entire thread is so dumb. I love my Navy but I don't know why you would even try and argue that Rihanna is more respected by the public than Beyoncé. She isn't, and that's just a fact. That doesn't diminish any of Rihanna's achievements or accomplishments.

...because there aren't nude pictures of Beyoncé floating around Twitter and Tumblr.
...because Beyoncé can actually carry a tune when she opens her mouth to sing.
...because Beyoncé knows how to command a stage, and doesn't just pace and stroll back and forth like a nervous fiend.
...because Beyoncé doesn't need to act like an overgrown teenager to get attention.
...because Beyoncé actually has talent.

I f you have doubts go to Instagram and search for the profiles of both girls, look at the pictures, and then you'll see why Beyoncé is better perceived by the GP.

She plays it safe, that's it. She doesn't do anything to cause drama or anything.

Beyonce isn't as controversial as Rihanna, it's as simple as that...there was no need for anyone to bring up sales, who's the better performer, etc.

Because of the song ''Single Ladies".Plus, Rihanna's song usually break the sexiness.

I love how Rihanna stans bring up how her latest tour is doing stadiums when they changed the availability of the stadium to that of an arena.

they both speak the same feministic values, it's just Beyonce portrays the message and image better than Rihanna does. i mean hello Ri accepted the man who beat her back into her life you cannot say that it doesn't go against the very message she's been saying. yes that takes away from her positive role model status. if i ever had a little girl myself i wouldn't want her looking up to Rihanna as a role model, and i'm a Rihanna fan.

Beyonce sang about women's independence, she portrayed the image of a strong woman grounded in her body and her personality and she didn't choose to be with a scumbag. so far Beyonce has 3 points over Rihanna. Ri has never really done a song that should be taken as something positive role model-wise, she sells her image sexually instead of being grounded and confident in herself and who she is and her whole accepting Chris Brown "because she loves him" ********. given all of these i'm really surprised there are even people on this planet that still see Rihanna as a positive role model let alone over Beyonce.

Rihanna is more liked by the GP, imo. Bey seems stuck up to the GP, at least from what I hear from people around me and what I see online.

Rihanna is one-dimensional and probably will be for the rest of her life. Both her and Bey got famous at really young ages but Matthew at least made Bey work for it and gave her a sense of drive. Rihanna is a mere canvas used for A&R reps to paint on. The fact that there are people gullible enough on this board, not to mention IRL, to believe she actually possesses a shred of talent is frightening. Record execs prey and profit on you.

Ummm maybe because Beyonce actually has talent? The Navy loves to act like the fact that Beyonce is tremendously more talented than Rih doesn't matter, but it really does, a lot.

and death @ Rih stans saying she isn't No one (not even her own stans) seems to have any standard or expectations for Rih. Beyonce says bitch and everyone is OUTRAGED. Rihanna walks the street with her tittes out and no one thinks anything of it.
