rihanna gets bashed as a negative role model constantly by the media. If you read the comments when rihanna got invited to a high school people were outraged. However, Beyonce is always seen as a positive role model. Beyonce and rihanna both have sexual lyrics and dance moves, but why is Beyonce viewed as the positve role model and more respected than rihanna?

When was the last time I seen beyonce upload pics of her smoking weed, sticking up her middle finger at paparazzi. get back with an abusive lover, have several nude pics of herself leak etc........ I don't mind rihanna or think girls can't admire some of her traits though, but when you do the above it's gonna reflect negatively on you. I also don't think the media bashes her that badly for her decisions like in all seriousness.

Beyoncé portrays herself to be the perfect woman. Well spoken, beautiful, a great performer and is happily married with a child. She is on the safe side. I prefer Rihanna because she has more of a hard edge though. The public however, are far too concerned with pop stars not living up to the "role model" type, which is frustrating. Rihanna is bad ass.

Beyonce knows how to play the media. Look at how she got herself out of that lip sync mess etc. She's smart about keeping her personal life away from people who have nothing to do with it.
