Thanks! You really do have to hold on to the "good ones." It's hard to find a man these days that have the same goals and dreams as you do. I don't want to settle for a dead beat or be someone's "baby mama." When you find a smart and educated guy with a good head on his shoulders, you latch on to them and never let go.

We dated basically from 8th grade to my graduating college. When we broke up, I tried the dating scene, but it was the absolute PITS and one disappointment after another. It was hard to find a guy that measured up to a standard of what I grew accustom to.

I've always wondered why women cared so much about marriage.

I like the thought of a big fun wedding and a gorgeous dress but when it comes down to it I'd probably end up going to a courthouse lol. Just planning a wedding and the whole ceremony seems so stressful and kind of unnecessary. We'll see though.

It's not perfect, but it's close enough for me. You both will find "him" as well. Sometimes we're too busy looking for that special someone and he's either right under our nose or will appear when we stop looking.

The justice of the peace type of weddings just take the spirit of matrimony out of it for me, but if that's what makes you happy, DO IT! I don't want a big wedding and would prefer a beach wedding in Florida or something, but I have too big of a family for them to accept that. They would never let me live it down that I "robbed" them of a chance to see me walk down the aisle. People like my aunts and grandmother are infamous for emotional blackmail.

Oh and you could always hire a wedding planner to orchestrate everything. Food for thought

Since the L Word has sparked convo on television shows. What shows do you normally watch? I've really gotten hooked on "The Good Wife" this past season, thanks in large part to Ace and Lipton's chatter about it in the Mod Squad.

I forgot to mention how much I believe "marriage is forever" () - a big cincher on why I considered myself a hopeless romantic. I don't know, I just trust my instincts enough not to choose a potential asshole⁄chronic jerk. Divorce is only an option if there's infidelity or physical abuse.

I always find myself getting really into a series and then abandoning it for another. Right now I'm in the middle of the second season of Nikita, and I'm aiming to see it to the end this time! I saw a few episodes of The Good Wife some time ago and was so intrigued I didn't know what the hell I was watching at the time but it interested me enough to Google it for the name.

I tried to watch that show but couldn't get into it.

I love Once Upon a Time, Revenge, Game of Thrones & even though I'm late, I've recently started watching Downton Abbey. That show is amazing. Imagine living that era, so different.
