I honestly don't use her at all.

But I don't think she's overrated. The woman is supremely talented. She also appeals to a wide range of listeners. I do respect her.

The fact is, 21 is perfect, her personality is amazing. You can't help but like her.

Her success is equal to her input. She deserves it.

The problem is most people are underrated. Never getting enough recognition even though by today's standard's its good!

What is "overrated" (or not) – is highly relative to your own personal thoughts towards that artist. For me, I don't find Adele that appealing. I respect and congratulate her, but her music isn't really my thing. So obviously, my own tastes will lead me to conclude that she is overrated. However, wider society seem to really appreciate her. I can't answer adequately, uhh!

I like that she writes her own songs and they're decent to good so I don't really think she's overrated

Eh, I mean she's nobody's savior of music or anything, and I only really use the singles from 21, but she's undeniably talented and capable of greatness (as she's shown).

Somewhat. I don't think she's that interesting of a vocalist, she has a nice tone yes but where is her range? She got hyped up a lot just because she is not making typical pop music about being in the club or whatever. She is talented though and does deserve her success.

Nope.

Granted her voice isn't AS good as it was pre-vocal surgery (mainly because she waited so long to get it fixed - but it's still incredible, especially considering how much damage it took while she toured) she's still a great song writer and is still able to convey emotion in a song better than most pop girls. And that's what matters.

Adele comes off as real and is actually in the music business for... well.. music. 21 changed the perception of the music industry and you're starting to see it's effect (especially with all the Someone Like You rip-offs that are charting). Instead of the charts being flooded with crappy dance music about getting on the floor, she opened the door for music with meaning to come back into the charts and did it without having to wear some ridiculous looking pink, blue, red, or purple wig or some stupid outfit.

Something most of your (and my) favs could never do.
