To make up for the travesty that was her not getting a Best Actress Nod for Crossroads. Lucy's journey from girl to something in-between a girl and a woman, was cinematic magic. The scene where her mother told her she didn't want her apart of her life Britney's acting was reminiscent of a young Meryl Streep.
