4 is really where the series started to kind of take a downturn. The game itself started out as an independent horror game but it was eventually decided that it would become the next game in the Silent Hill series, which definitely shows in a lot of the design.

Not a bad game by any means, but it really didn't live up to the flawlessness of 2 and 3. Great soundtrack by Akira Yamaoka though, he always nailed down the Silent Hill soundtracks perfectly.

I give it a C the combat was clunky as fvck but it was cool how interactive the apartment was.
The game overall wasn't bad but could have been better

Coming off of Silent Hill 3, I didn't enjoy it as much I would have hoped.

No, I'm still stuck and both the 2 (I can't get passed Pyramid Head) & 3 (I can't get out of the room with the orange laser )

I never had the chance to play this gem during its first release and it was hard to find.
Thankfully this and ICO was bundled together for the HD PS3 release so i bought it.

Game is simply stunning, the landscape you and your horse trying to save your true love
The game is very challenging as well.

I give it an A

Heard of it so many times but never picked it up. Might get it one day cause its always on sale.
