DC doesn't equal Beyonce. But Beyonce was the lead singer and so she HAS sung those songs. It's not as if it was a different person.

And yes, Rihanna's songs are more crass than Beyonce's. Rihanna's songs are a lot more crass than Bow Down. So how did Rihanna influence Beyonce if bow down is just as crass as Back Up, Diva, Video Phone, Ego etc.?

I understand your point, however Beyonce like I said before said she wouldn't resort to controversy in order to get attention. I understand that the media/public making some of this controversy a bit bigger than it should be. However at this point its coming across kind of forced, she knew the media was going to make this a big deal. Usually B strayed away from these kinds of attentions, however now she is feeding them herself. For what? I mean she already had attention right?

In answer to the question, no I don't think she's using it for buzz. I think she used her Super Bowl performance, announcement of a world tour and the two "buzz snippets" to cause buzz.

All the "controversy" was created by the public, blogs and media and Beyoncé has not addressed or responded to any of these "controversies" as per usual

Can you guys just for a second realize that Beyonce is releasing music not for your sake or to make you listen up but because she wants to?

She doesn't have to release this type of music, she's more classy than that blah blah blah.

Yes, she is more classy than that. But she can still release it and that she did. She's used to everything she does becoming a big deal... even for the slightest thing. So why be tamed and criticized when you can let loose and get the amount of criticism?
