Can't wait for this. I've barely seen trailers though, which is odd as I go to the movies all the time. I haven't watched the first one since it came out, I should rewatch it.

Just back from the premiere in Taiwan. Although it may not as well-paced and some parts are not engaging as the first entry, the second chapter still offers mesmerizing characterizations on the already developed/familiar characters, creates a decent tortuous plot, and fills with plenty of stunning visuals(though, some frames are over-crammed). Most importantly I think, has some great heart-felt moments.

I thought it was brilliant. A great follow up.

The plot kept you interested, the dialogue was smart and often funny, the visuals were beautiful, the characters were on point and it had heart. There was the right balance of action to drama, too. Often films like this cop out with overly long fighting sequences.

Plus, I know people make fun of JJ Abrams for his lens flares but tbh I think it gives the films a beauty and identity. It doesn't look cheap or generic future sci-fi.

Looking forward to the next instalment. Hopefully we won't be waiting too long with the Star Wars reboot in the way.

Yes, the performance was one of the most stunning part! I'm thrilled that J.J. managed to handle so many characters without withdrawing their characteristics. And also able to provoke each actors to conjure their uniqueness!

It's still not out in America where I am. I will be seeing this at midnight in IMAX on Thursday. So excited.

To the people that saw it, was it better than the 2009 one? And was it better than WOK?
