Negative remarks, criticism and insults can hurt. Not to say that I've been hurt recently since I've learnt how not to give a damn, but I have been in the past. How do you deal with it?
There was no negativity directed at me personally recently, but I get very upset and angry when I see comments on 9gag and generally popular sites. Most of them are homophobic, sexist, racist etc. and they make me doubt humanity.
I don't deal with it in a healthy way, I think I'm becoming more cold and more bitchy with every negative remark I see on the Internet
With positivity. This is gonna sound cheesy as hell but when somebody says something negative to me, I'll cry a little bit but then get up and do something positive, like compliment somebody else or donate or something, etc. and put positive vibes back into the world, it makes me feel better. The only way to get through negativity is with positivity. If you're only getting negative vibes from everyone, then give out positive vibes to other people. If you want happiness in your life and you're not getting it from other people, then create it yourself.
I bop to my fave jams and then hate on that biatch tbh. Well not hate, but I just send it back or give them the cold shoulder. I'm too fine to be DRAGGED to the pits by a lessor. Try it...it works

I ignore it tbh, like you can say anything you want and I'll just piss you off by being like "lol I'm better than you" and I watch them turn red and keep digging deeper.
I've always had a tremendous amount of self-confidence. I've heard people call me a f*ggot and other stuff behind my back, but I don't really let it get to me because I know that I'm a bad bxtch.
Always remember that the hateful things people say about you reflect more on them than yourself. Someone, somewhere is always going to have something negative to say about you. Be strong in your convictions, become comfortable in your own skin and you'll be fine.
Yahoo! comments are pretty awful too.
