There are so many people here with the delusion that religion can never be any help to anyone ever no matter what. So many choose to ignore the fact that billions of people us it for moral/emotional support and comfort; a lot of people need it to get through their day and couldn't last without it. Also, despite their many faults and hypocrisies, religious institutions build and support schools, charities, hospitals, medical research, etc.

The celibacy vow for priests would solve so many issues for the church. I'm Greek Orthodox and our priests can get married so we don't have the problems there.
