I can't see Katy in a serious movie. But I don't think she's that bad of an actress. (her old lady acting in totga was funny though)
I can totally see her starring in a romcom movie (ala valentines day) or comedy movies in general imo. She has a good comedic timing

Firework and Hummingbird Heartbeat are giving me so much life right now. I haven't gotten tired of Teenage Dream yet and it's been over 2 years since the release. As soon as I get tired of a few songs, there's some other track on the album that I get infatuated with again. The cycle just keeps repeating.
And Sacha gets the final say who he picks to play his leading lady. Who knows, maybe she got that part?
I hope this happens, even though she's kinda a bad actress ( @ her acting during the intro of the POM video). "Killer Queen" had a huge impact on her, so she probably wants the part a lot.
Plus, it would get her more respect.

I don't think it's that, she's been in the studio with Greg Wells & Sia in the past few weeks so I don't think it means that she's getting in the 'songwriting zone' again.
She could still easily be following the Teenage Dream release schedule, we didn't have news about California Gurls until mid-April... (Though we already knew about Not Like The Movies, Dressin' Up and Hummingbird Heartbeat by now)
Maybe she is just keeping things more secretive?
Plus, since floral is going to be the theme, wouldn't it make sense that the era start in late spring/early summer? You know when there are a lot of flowers...
