Exactly! Her team seems straight-up incapable of proper promotion at this point.

Late Night With Jimmy Fallon - Mirrors
Plus the Target deal. He didn't really promote much, but the performances were great, he earned raves, and pulled in record ratings. Season-high for SNL and top episode in 14 months, season-high for Fallon and top episode in 10 months, and the Grammy ratings peaked during his performance.
I really think that a great -- or even a good -- VMAs performance would do wonders for Britney. The 2007 performance was unfortunately memorable and ultimately ruined her credibility as a performer. There’s no need to put her on every single show. If the performances are good, they will gets lots of buzz and positive feedback.
