I was actually hoping this upcoming single would be Do You Think About Me. I'm not sure how two ballads in a row would do though. I mean, I Told You So still did very well, but I'd still be worried.
Ideally, I was hoping she'd do a double release: Do You Think About Me to country and See You Again to AC/HAC/Pop.

I'm gonna spam Carrie's twitter about WAW as the 5th single. I mean, she has to release a country-sounding single this era.
I was so ****ing surprised to see SYA was the 4th single. It was obvious, but I didn't see it coming at all. I don't know how I feel about this.

She gave a hint to it on her blog on the FC. She signed the blog with See You Soon..... She never does that

Do You Think About Me was a better choice.

This could slay Europe, to be honest. About the TSOM, considering it's a big production (like, the guys produced the Oscars), I imagine there's going to be a big ****ing promotion for it. We don't know about the cast yet, but they better get all those big names so people can watch it.

I like See You Again alot I think her singles are country but they have a more different sound to them and I am here for that. Who wants to listen to 100% country music all the time when you can have a mixture . See You Again is great like her other singles

Of course there is going to be big promotion for TSOM. I'm saying this single seems carefully chosen to have a big hit across the board to garner more interest in Carrie and the project.

Me being the country radio fanatic of the base, I listened to country radio all day and just don't see it meshing well with all the other songs out there. I mean, Stay by Rihanna has just as many country elements in it if you want to look at it that way.

I want a fantastic video for SYA. She has given some great videos this era.
I shall just listen to SYA on repeat and tune out the negativity.

Disagree. There are plenty of country stans on here (and on CF) that really like SYA. It's different yes, but that doesn't mean it'll do badly. If it flops, it flops. If it doesn't, it doesn't. It's not what I would've picked for the next single, but it means a lot to Carrie (like Mama's Song) so I'm gonna support it 100%
And Carrie still has a country voice anyways The production isn't solely pop.

WGNA FM @WGNAFM
@carrieunderwood announced that "See You Again" will be her next single. Can't wait to play it on @WGNAFM
Radio is going to jump on playing this. I am not sure why people are worrying if this will flop. Country radio loves Carrie. If they didn't like it, they would of given them negative feedback when it was sent to be tested a few months back

She sang I Can’t Make You Love Me and clucked like a chicken almost ten years ago on American Idol. Turns out, she could make people love her, dominating the voting every week on the competition and eventually winning by a landslide. She’s come a long way since, to become a true success story of such TV talent shows.
Despite a perceived lack of support for mainstream country here in Ireland, Underwood took her ‘Blown Away’ tour to our fair city for one night in the Olympia Theatre. We could all be lesser people and decide to insert a pun about being ‘blown away’ by the whole thing, but every party involved here deserves better. With such an audacious tour name, Underwood sure is sure of herself. The only question now is whether or not she can live up to it.
Appearing on stage as the wholesome farm girl next door, carved out meticulously by the country music Gods (we assume this to be Dolly Parton), Underwood literally shines. Her hair reflects the spotlight like a mirror, while her pearly whites gleam from behind her overjoyed smile.
Tonight is low-key in comparison to her U.S. Leg, and we can tell. It’s like a day off for her really, but not to the detriment of her performance. The venue is probably smaller than she’s used to, but considering Ireland’s chilly relationship with country music, it’s positively booming. Dressed in a black jacket, white t-shirt and jeans, there’s no messing as she launches into a killer set tethering on the edge of country and good old fashion rock’n'roll.
In a plump set, Underwood makes her way through her back catalogue of Grammy award-winning, platinum selling albums. Two Black Cadillacs attempts to introduce a bad-ass tone that only the undeniably brilliant Last Name can cash in. Backing singers bring welcome texture to such a powerful voice without even slightly distracting from it. Looking for a fault in her vocal is like trying to find a needle in the haystack that should rightly be cast to the side of the stage.
The slower I Told You So, Good Girl and Before He Cheats are right up there in the predictably good stakes, while the edgier Wasted and Cowboy Casanova attempt to highlight her appeal. The appeal of having to stop your waist from swaying in a half-hearted line dance, enchanted by the pied piper of Southern twang.
But there’s still effort in that sass, like trying to convince the wholesome Christian girl to swig a bottle of whiskey and chew tobacco to Johnny Cash. So it’s hard to outline Underwood’s individual stamp on things without drawing around the fading ink. Speaking sweetly about American Idol, it all seems a bit “yes, move on.” Because we don’t associate her with American Idol anymore, which is clear as she launches into Temporary Home and Quitter, to us especially, it’s gone past that.
Finishing up with I Know You Won’t, the powerful ballad showers the Olympia under darkness. Underwood shines under the spotlight—where she belongs—but doesn’t look it. An unassuming girl-next-door that just sucker-punched you with her voice, sure she won’t drink the whiskey, but damn sure she’ll be the first one blowing up the choir Sunday am.
Blown Away arrives to more like a slight misbalancing breeze, but with the audience pleased, she’s off for a Guinness. Having never let the note drop once over the insanely long set, it’s duly deserved.

Poor two black bicycles. It did good but not on the level of BA, and i feel like SYA will be much bigger than it. Sandwiched in between two mega smashes poor her.
I wonder what the music video for this? I dont think itll have a storyline like TBC and BA. I think itll just be Carrie in really big dresses with magic and really pretty scenery.

I have a few favorites from each album.
SH - Wasted, I Just Can't Live A Lie, The Night Before (Life Goes On)
CR - SS, Get Out Of This Town, I Know You Won't (I wish it was acoustic)
PO - Someday When I Stop Loving You, What Can I Say. I am not a big fan of this album
BA - See Ya Again, Blown Away, Wine After Whiskey
I want a true love song from Carrie at some point. Her PO demo's are so much better than some of the songs she puts on her albums. My hope is on album 5 she takes the production down allows her voice to shine and stop putting songs on her album that is below her artistic ability.
I just can't see how she can write OW and WAW or even some of her PO demo's yet produce songs like OWT and Cupid. That part frustrates me because she has better songs that showcase her talent
