IMO Canadains are. I went to Australia and wasn't greeted nicely by the people there, had to get my leg amputated after I got attacked by a dingo, and the hospital gave my family a really hard time.

I'm not sure about Aussies (but I heard they're not friendly towards immigrants?). But yeah, Canadians are friendly in general (probably because we have high standard of living). But Canadians will shade behind your back though.

I would have to vote for my neighbors up north, the canadians! Although the other day I encountered an Australian Couple at my job purchasing shoes and they were very sweet and awesome! But i've met many Canadians and they have always been very down to earth.

Canadians. Australians aren't really nice or friendly, they're just laid back so people mistake that for friendliness. Don't be fooled.
