I'm not sure? Probably not? I know Jewel has been promoting a new single off her GH. And I think the next single will be another new song on there. I would love for them to sing it together at some point though.

I really want Kelly to work with Rick Rubin. He's worked with a lot of well known artists and could really help Kelly crossover to pop/country. He produced the Dixie Chicks "Taking the Long Way" and is producing The Band Perry's new album. He also produced on 21 and I can see Kelly having huge sales for her next album.

I want a explicit album from Kelly. Like seriously. She curses a lot in her shows, why can't she do the same on her albums?

She does curse a lot but maybe she knows she has a lot of young fans? Idk.

I don't see the need to curse in her music though, unless it's trying to bring the emotion out like in BOY. To me, it would be weird. It's not her image and it would turn away some fans imo.

But she will gain more than she will lose. I'm tired of Kelly being described "girly" by the general public. I wish she somehow break free from the image she currently has. Kelly is just being described as someone with a "good voice" when she is so much more than that.

Besides, isn't majority of her fanbase is an older AC/HAC crowd, anyway? So I don't see why she couldn't experiment with the explicit side of songs. I find it's hilarious when she cusses.

Huh? What I mean is when people see I'm listening to a Kelly Clarkson song they will automatically lift their eyebrows and be like "Why are you listening to girls music". People have in their mind that Kelly Clarkson is only for girls or gays.

No I think he means people think she's the cutesey girl next door type.

Part of Kelly's appeal is that she is the girl next door. She's not your typical popstar singing about sex and having back up dancers. She doesn't have to curse and use auto tune to sell. That's the way I see it. I don't mind if she curses here or there though.
