Netbooks are the worst machines ever. No power and tiny as ****. I pity those who gotta use them as their main computer.

I have a Retina MacBook Pro. It doesn't have a CD drive (Apple is futuristic like that) so I guess it wouldn't fall under any category maybe because it's also the first laptop to have an ultra hi-res screen

well i have a notebook which is what id say is a small version of a laptop that dont have a CD port wtf is a netbook? when i brought this it said NOTEbook not laptop or netbook

I was pissed off when I bought mine and didn't even think of a CD drive. I burn CD's nearly all the time, so most of the time I still use my White Macbook for most things, because i burn alot of movies and music to disc.

Usually smaller, and doesn't have a disc drive.

So a Netbook is usually a 10" with no disc drive, a Notebook is usually 12" - 14" with no disc drive.
A Laptop is 13" - 17" with a discdrive.

Company's call most laptop's 'Notebooks" now because it sounds smarter, but they are Laptops if they have a disc drive basically.

Laptop, I can't do a maximum of 4 GB of RAM memory. Plus more speed on the laptops.

I have a 14" laptop with a CD drive and it says on the box that it's a notebook. Laptop and notebook are just the same. Ultrabooks are those that resemble a laptop but without an optical disc drive.

I love my laptop

Yeah, sometimes it can vary, it really depends on whether a company calls it it a Notebook or a Laptop, without being techincal.

But because yours is 14" not 13", 15 or 17"+ it might be considered a Notebook for that reason :P
