I have a PC right now but, I can't wait until I get a laptop. Only thing I hate about laptops is that there's no mouse although you can connect one to it. I just hate sliding my finger along the pad of it.

I have a notebook and I love it, it's really easy to carry around... Much better than the laptops I've owned tbh

You can always buy an external CD-player/burner that you can connect through your USB port

The proper term for a Notebook is a Laptop without a CD drive, but I don't know.

He must be talking about Netbooks or Ultrabooks or somethin because Notebooks' aint cute

I actually hate netbooks because their usually poor hardware allows you to do almost nothing and I'm not here to lose my sight working with a 10'' or less screen. The DVD drive is also important but not as much as the screen for me. Netbook's highlight is their extreme mobility, though, but I still don't approve.

Tablets do it better, in all honesty.

Netbooks were a stepping stone to tablets that should never have been released. No screen should run Windows under 12' in all honesty.

My 12" convertible tablet runs perfectly. 10' Netbook I gave to my 4 year old sister because it was useless.

Mac's run great as well. The 11" MacBook Air is the best Netbook you will ever get tbh.

Sometimes its nice to see all the pretty pictures tho.



but if you buy it on CD just d/l, don't rip from CD. Clunk your PC up with huge files that are half the size in i+ format.
