The fourth entry in the Saints Row series was confirmed to be in development a few months ago, although this time it's in the hands of a company called Deep Silver, as THQ went under in early February.
Just uploaded on the official Saints Row Facebook page was this banner, along with the caption "We're Back!".
And this video was just uploaded to the Deep Silver HQ YouTube channel.
Saints Row IV will be released in both North America and Europe on August 23rd of this year!

Boo, I really loved the first three Saints Row games (Easily 3 of the 4 best games of their type, only beaten by San Andreas), but this just looks bad and way too far. I'll give it a few more months and trailers before I completely give up on it though.
It was originally supposed to be an expansion for SR3, but they decided to just make a whole new game out of it. I wish they would have put more thought and time into it though, seems rushed. I'll still buy it of course.
The original Saints Row remains the best one.
