Not all Catholics feel this way. As a person who went to a Catholic high school I saw more acceptance there for gays than in the secular world. Seriously, my morality teacher who is a firm catholic said homosexuality is not wrong since they are Gods children and hates how people portray Catholics as homophobes. Just my two scents. I would hate to see this thread be a religion bashing.
I've personally yet to meet a serious church going Christian who isn't a massive hypocrite in one way or another but the bible itself is hypocritical in places unless you pretend the OT didn't happen.
Idgaf what anyone wants to believe as long as they don't force their beliefs on others or act like they have some kind of moral superiority because that in itself is not a Christian thing to do. I know plenty of churches here still say gayness is a disease yet you get priests touching up little boys...something is a miss. She clocked them.

Honestly everyone is a hypocrite when you get down to it. Like my comment or not, but people generally are hypocrites.
