This is a good idea. During the last Animal Awards, I sent messages to the top 60 posters in the base thread about nominations and voting. I think that did quite a bit to get more people to participate.

I think you should prolongue the voting, to have more time to promote it to all ATRL Animals, and maybe do some more promo in the Lounge with a thread about it to get non-Animals' attention too.
I don't have an ATRL+ account so I'm not gonna send PM's to Animals, but I can try to stir some **** for the award thread. I have no WPs, so I'll see what I can do.
