In an interview with The Independent (via SF Chronicle) that's equal parts delusional and desperate (aka all the things I love an in an interview), the former head puss of the Pussycat Dolls says that classy people like her have to work harder to be successful and if she laid her coochie on the devil, she'd have Adele's career right now (yeah, I think Nicole is calling Adele and every other successful singer a mega tramp).
You might want to put a mask on before you read this mess, because the delusion is thick and you might catch it.

Perhaps she is insisting that her sexed up act on stage is merely distant from who she is as a person. A lot of female pop stars play a Dominatrix-type character, but Nicole separates the personal from the professional. So while she may come across as this "whore" in music videos, it's more for putting on a show rather than an accurate reflection on her.
Nicole, girl. The reason why you are flopping is not that. Actually you are not less ****ty than some successful acts.
And Grammys? Just look at Adele.

I think there are some missunderstandings in this interview, I mean we see this a lot and mostly the freelancer interviewer is in charge for a fuc'cked up interview.
If I read this right, then she did say something like "It's hard to be successful in this industry only with your talent. And even by herself not a sexles person got offers who were far inappropriate and got some promises from producers about prices.
She'd be a lot more successful if she released much better music. Being ****ty has nothing to do with lackluster material. And why is she wanting an Oscar when she hasn't done a major picture yet?
She could be a powerhouse but her material is too watered down.
I don't mind her stuff, but I link her in with the other ****ty popstars. She is dressing in skimpy clothing, especially in the song "Wet".
I think she's just trying to rationalize why she isn't as successful anywhere else outside of the UK. Her music just isn't as good, and until she actually brings it, she'll stay in the UK.

Nicole might be sassy and sexy in some of her videos and performances, but she always does it with CLASS. Unlike others
