LOL I stopped arguing when it became clear these people consider causing the widespread suffering of millions a minor point of disagreement rather than a horrific act of evil I mean it's sociopathic.
I was 99% sure that a Latin American was going to be selected to be Pope. I just heard that it's the first time in 1500 years since there's been a Pope that wasn't European. As a catholic, i'm glad that Pope Francis I was selected.
And at some of y'all in here, if you don't believe in God and don't have anything respectful to say, don't bring yourselves into the thread.
Being disrespectful towards the pope =/= Being disrespectful towards God. Gather your sense of thought together.
Like I said before, I don't know too much about sexual activity in animals () so I can neither prove nor disprove this.
But just because those animals may feel pleasure during sex, doesn't mean that they have sex solely for pleasure.
THEN WHY are you commenting. Male dolphins and male bonobos BOTH have sex outside of ovulation even if they know their female counterpart isn't fertile. So why're you still going on?
Quote:
Therefore, we say that we humans engage in "sex for pleasure" not just because sex is something we consider to "feel good," but because it meets the criterion specified above: both men and women willingly engage in sex even though neither one of them may know for certain that the woman is fertile, and even at times when fertilization is impossible (such as when the woman is already pregnant or is post-menopausal). We know that a few (and only a few) species other than humans behave in a manner consistent with our definition of "sex for pleasure." Female bonobos (also known as pygmy chimpanzees), for example, are receptive to sex for several weeks before and after ovulation, and male bonobos will engage in sex with them even though they know the females are not fertile. Dolphins, too, frequently mate even when the female is not fertile.
THEN WHY are you commenting. Male dolphins and male bonobos BOTH have sex outside of ovulation even if they know their female counterpart isn't fertile. So why're you still going on?
I wasn't "going on". I stopped until you dug up a pages-old post. And you're the one that keeps going on.
I'm excited about the new pope (as a Catholic). My biggest hope is for him to kinda push a little about equality and people of the LGBT community (cause you know....God did say he loved us ALL)
He did say once that "men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies must be accepted with respect and compassion"
lmfao! They have the audacity to proclaim this! I doubt the representative of God would sit on his chair and hide or allow the atrocities the popes throughout the ages have committed!
