I mean, not just ATRL but music forums in general.
Before i started posting on here and other forums, charts, sales, and stan wars meant nothing to me.

But now, everyones constant negativity about artist flopping and chart positions, its slowly ruining things for me, it seems these days the music and talent is forgotten about and people only care about stats.

It would be nice to have a conversation without having to bring up sales or "but your fav can't sing" or " Your fav is fake" ect ect.

Seriously some people need to get over themselves.

How discussing about music would make me dislike music?

You just need to ignore the pointless threads (well, it is not so easy) and ATRL won't be so bad.

Obviously i ignore those threads, but after a while peoples constant negativity gets to me and ruins it.

You just need to learn to not let stans cloud your love for music. I've gotten in arguments with lots of stans but did they change my feelings of the artist they stan for and their music? Absolutely not.

People on this site love to troll. Just ignore it.

I hate 90% of the radio music. But I consider that a blessing. I only listen to who I stan for on radio.

Actually it's made the IRL conversations between me and Retro less of me going "But sales don't matter! We're talking about talent!" now that I get how he argues over music.

I can see where you're coming from with this question, but it has also introduced me to new great artsit.

Not @ all. I'll be damned if I let other people's views or opinions or constant trolling make me dislike music or whatever artist they are dragging or whatever it may be. Just ignore those threads, even thigh it's easier said than done and you'll be fine. I mean people who bring up sales and etc are just trying to get a rise out of everyone. It can be annoying but hey it is what it is.

I do think its funny when stans post chart certifications or whatever every chance they get like it's their own achievements.

It just intensified my love for music tbh, here I can discover all that is hapenning in the music world and discuss.
I don't care about stan wars tbh, and I'm always unbiased about my faves in polls and stuff, being sucessful it's not everything, talent wins everything in the end of the day.

It's really given exposure to artists I wouldn't have otherwise known about. And though I may have become a bit of a music snob, stans don't bother me. I can easily overlook the delusional.
