I came in here expecting the kid to be in the wrong. Not sure why some of you are blaming the cops when the kid pulled a gun out. I would have shot him if I was the cop, too.

Also BYE at people defending the damn cops. They should have identified themselves. Clearly if this kid lives in a bad area he may feel compelled to carry a gun. It could have been for self defense reasons.

And YES. They were in that area to look for trouble. It was unprovoked. It was a needless death.

They were undercover cops. They should of used tazers.

tasers VS. a gun?

The kid would still be alive today had he not been foolish enough to pull out a gun when you're being approached by cops. Regardless if they were undercover or not. Even if he didn't know they were undercover he was still about to pull out his glock & open fire.

By all means that is true, but his reasoning for having the gun may not be to instigate violence. If he was a respectful kid, he may have had it for self defence. It's just a needless death. I have a feeling if the cops simply said a few words, his life would have been sparred.

Sorry, but that's how police officers/undercovers are trained to react. That kid could have easily harmed an innocent bystander. They did what they had to do. Still RIP to the kid.

I did and I say meh. Kids do that even in rich areas because they are bored. I'm not convinced this course of again was necessary.

I believe both parties were wrong but over all it's just a sad situation. RIP.
