It looks more and more like VEVO was a great creation by Universal Music and Sony Music. When it first debuted on Youtube, I remember thousands of negative comments. Now, it's an integral part of Youtube.

It's today's generation MTV, but better because we actually choose what we watch and it's a worldwide thing.

I really think they should factor that percentage into the charts.

We live in America and therefore should only factor American views.

Hopefully one day, Warner Music Group will join VEVO or license their MVs to VEVO.

Universal and Sony Music have about 60% market share between them. Warner has about 17%. The rest (23%) are indie labels.
