I've been always wondering how people feel about P!nk. Do you consider her being hypocrite? She's been always laughing at pop girls for taking off their clothes, and yet she's been doing exactly the same.

She started as an R&B artist, but it didn't quiet work out. Pop-rock became popular with Avril, Kelly, which is exactly when P!nk changed her direction, and so on.

No - P!nk's thing has always been that sexy and smart aren't oil and water, it's possible to do both. She's not saying "Don;t be sexy!", she's saying "Don't be sexy and stupid about it".

P!nk had no control over her debut album that's why she started as an R&B artist.
And M!ssunderstood(a pop rock album) was released before Kelly Clarkson won on American Idol so I doubt that.Not to mention how she doesn't dress nearly as dary as the other pop girls and she doesn't make her whole career revolve about her looks like others do and I am sure that's what she's bashing.
P!nk is an open feminist so I'm sure she is fine with sexually open women,as long as they don't make it the centre of their life(like the pop girls she dislikes)

She's never said that. She said women can be intelligent and look sexy at the same time without coming over as airheaded ****s. I remember her mentioning Kelis and Angelina Jolie as examples how to do it right.

P!nk actually did pop-rock before Kelly and Avril although she never reached the level of success they had at their peak. I do think she can be somewhat hypocritical acting pretentious when her music is just as safe as Britney's but I still like her and respect her.
