Frank doesn't even like to be labeled R&B, and he doesn't have as many R&B hits as Miguel, so no. Miguel is the closest thing to the R&B Prince at the moment.
No, is there any Prince of RnB atm btw? ...I think we should have a pillow fight in a pool of chocolate between Franky O and Miguel, the winner gets the title "Crown Prince of RnB"
Trey Songz hasn't put enough work in.. Plus his more Ghostwritten than Lil Kim.
Chris Brown had the title... but he has fallen the hell off.
Chris is still very well respect in the R&B community, he's sold million of records, he's talented, good looking and has made a tremendous amount of impact.

He was good looking but based on the candids we got today he lost all of his appeal.

Chris Brown is a basehead now tho. And his music have been lack luster for awhile. He had the title, now he can't even get a gold single. Sisqo had the title, heard from him lately?

Chris has still sold more than some of the other names being brought up in the thread.
Not even close. If there is an 'R&B Prince' at the moment...and I'm not so sure...but if there is, then Miguel is a much better contender to the title than Frank.
Quite frankly, Frank is bland and weird, and he rubs me the wrong way. Miguel is weird too, but at least he's got the voice and a sound that is more conducive, and in line, to the genre. In the meantime, Frank is all hype. If he has any substance, it'll be smothered to death by his hype soon enough and he'll go back to being some underground novelty act. I can see Miguel still being around in five years, even after his hype becomes less fresh. Sort of like John Legend.
