I hope he sticks to this date, I've loved all the singles so far!

The 3/26 date was released by Ryan Seacrest, he's a reliable source.
i could have sworn that there was a thread like this a few weeks ago saying that this album would be out some time during the last weeks of march.................
We actually have never got an official date by either will.i.am or Interscope, just indication dates, but no full dates. All "official"dates came from other sources, which could be see as reliable but if the act itself or the label doesn't admit, confirm or whatever, it's pretty obvious that that date also wasn't it
Why did they push it back again. :/ At least with the 26th date it was actually confirmed from Will's site. Don't know what they are waiting for. Waiting too long now.

The first single, "#thatPOWER" featuring Justin Bieber is available on iTunes today and the video, directed by Ben Mor, will be released next month. Additional songs on #willpower include tracks with Britney Spears, Hit-Boy, Waka Flocka Flame, Lil Wayne, Diddy, Chris Brown, Miley Cyrus, Skylar Grey, Juicy J, Eva Simons, apl.de.ap, Baby Kaely and 2NE1.
A seven-time Grammy Award-winner, will.i.am is known not only for his work with The Black Eyed Peas, who have sold 31 million albums and 58 million singles worldwide, but also for his work with some of the entertainment industry's biggest names, including Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Usher, David Guetta and film composer Hans Zimmer. Recognized and honored by numerous industry organizations, will.i.am is the recipient of multiple Grammy Awards, a Latin Grammy Award, an Emmy Award, a CLIO Award, two NAACP Image Awards, a VH1 Do Something Award, the BMI President's Award and a 2008 Webby Award.
"Scream & Shout" and "This Is Love" are on the album, in a capacity similar to a bonus track.
will.i.am is very clear he doesn't think albums and singles should overlap, so if he had his way they probably wouldn't even be on the album, and "#thatPower" would be the only single.
will.i.am has recorded over 200 songs for this project, so expect a follow-up EP or album pretty soon. There is no label pressure on this album, as will.i.am funds it all himself, from production and A&R to marketing. Interscope merely distribute the album, with sister label Universal Music UK the more actively involved label.
The problem with Will is that every time something leaks, he gets pissed and cancels the release of it. He should know that nowdays leaks are actually normal. Obviously an artist is not going to be happy with a leak of his unreleased material, but still. I like some of his older material, hopefully #willpower is not a dance album only.
