I'd hate to read the forums whilst banned. I lurked for a few months when you couldn't sign up and it was fine because I didn't care as much and was impartial and unbiased, but now I'm here there's already members and topics I want to talk about and seeing the discussion take place without me being able to give my opinion would just annoy me too much.

They can read it, just sign out. And good thing they can still lurk the board cause people try to act tough and mighty when they "get people banned".
