Duets don't end fan feuds, they only intensify them. When Brandy and Monica dueted on TBIM, that didn't create a truce amongst fans...all it did was heighten the animosity, with fans wanting to claim who the made the song, who the song more belonged to, who was better on it, who was more responsible for it being a hit, who was better during the live performances, etc., etc.
If Beyonce and Rihanna ever recorded a duet -- God forbid -- the ugliness between their fans would just get worse.
