2 chainz was EVERYWHERE in 2012. whether you like his music or not (which personally I don't), he was definitely hot property in rap last year and deserves his spot. a$ap deserved to be higher too. nas is dope but he wasn't that hot last year, his album was pretty good but not as mind-blowing as it could've been imo.
