Quality. Quality. Quality.
How such a sharp decrease in quality can affect an artist so much. How going from a great album to a subpar album can affect an artist so much. I can moan and groan and say how it's not fair, but who else can I blame except the artist for their decisions?
Now, it is 2013. It's not 2012, so I'll try not to dwell on the past, but this + the Grammy's are evidence in that drop in quality.
As we look into 2013, all I ask is for quality music that was there in the release of the album in 2010.
That is all.

Why do I feel as case of deja vu? You are not going to have this same rant if High school doesn't perform the way we expect. I swear I remember this rant from 2012.
It's like we get people don't feel PF:RR is quality. She's not going further down that road the way Division wants.
She put out the re-up it got good reviews and she also is heading more in that direction. It's like... Build a bridge already. If she were to say that Automatic and Starships were her inspiration and direction for the new album I totally would understand but it's not the case.

Someone here said it very well in the summer.
It's like the come up and mixtape days represent her working hard for the track meet and finally took the gold at the 1st meet (PF). During PF:RR, she hit the finals/championship whatever and was way in the lead and got bored with the fact that she was in her own lane so she just stopped with the baton in her hand and started walking backwards until she had someone close to nipping at her heels (some would say other female rappers, some would say the backlash and harsh criticism)...well she still has the baton in her hand and is moving forward. The others are still eating her dust and she will cross the finish line. The re-up was her taking some of the steps backwards on PF:RR and going forward...she will hit the home stretch where she puts out a quality 16 track album again and will continue to win VMAs, AMAs, EMAs, BMAs, and eventually grammy's.
It's like people don't understand that if she would have played it safe she wouldn't have gone on the journey and mainstream people would have been indifferent and she might not have achieved certain advertisements, business opportunities and for sure not sold out arenas globally. Why do you all think she said that she had bigger balls than Madonna? Because she literally
had the game in the palm of her hands just to do PF 2.0 and
play it safe. But she chose to put out Stupid hoe with the genius video message but horrible song and timing but she had to get it off of her chest regardless of the backlash. Couple this with urban scratching their heads at turn me on and then losing their sht with starships. That takes guts but she has a vision. The only problem I have is that she allowed Dr. Luke to play her a little bit but that's a horse of a different color and I already addressed that. She made the final decision with PF:RR and went with it. She also went from 2010 Onika to Harajuku zany Nicki and that was a risk. From sexy to zany and kooky turned people off but it showed the fashion world that she was not afraid to be out there and is daring.
What did she do she took a risk as an artist, made some mistakes, grew and learned and is toned down. Her attitude is different, her perspective is different and even with backlash she expanded her brand to be a household global name.
If she would have given us Superbass 2.0s and Right thru me 2.0s then people would have gone bored with her.
She made her mark and became polarizing just like many controversial artists (Britney, Rihanna, Madonna, Michael jackson, Gaga) and you can't achieve that playing it safe even if you are the top of your game.
The opposite of love is not hate it's indifference. Most people have a strong opinion towards her one way or the other but even the hate is dying down as its not fun for the fairweathers anymore. I have no doubt in my mind that she would have became someone that many were indifferent to and grew tired of if she would have played it safe.
I don't even want a Pink Friday style album. I want her to go through her journey from the highs and lows and show growth and maturity.
She said that she will get grammy's in the future. I don't remember her saying she will get grammy's with PF:RR. She also said this was era was more about fun and not overthinking things. She even said on the Fuse interview that she has a lot to say and in the E! special she said that she prophecizes (sp) what happens. I still like PF:RR for what it was. I think she knows how to move fast and make the right moves.

Guess who's doing Rock in Rio?
That's amazing. Although I believe her 4th album will be her classic album, I think the 3rd album will really be the transition forward that she needs. I just feel it.
This will be perfect as I fully expect an August single with a VMA performance and Rock in rio promo in addition to other press junkets.
Things like this seem like a 5-6 song set. Therefore, I'd be happy with performances of:
-New single
-Freedom
-Starships or Pound the alarm preferably the latter.
-Superbass
-Moment for life
-Mashup of her features (Monster, Girl on fire, freaks, bottoms up or dance, beauty and the beat)
