i see where you coming from but as a personal fan I want her top 3 Mc placement to be a year when she conquers urban radio and starts SENDING URBAN HITS TO THE POP RADIO ya know? that album when nicki can make a urban hit and it universally smashes i always noticed with PF:RR she was afraid to ever take that risk with her urban music she never wanted to even touch a pop station. if Jiggas in Paris could crossover to pop so can some of Nicki's songs. that's when i want her to get a top 3 mc placement

BUT i will admit now that i think about it Big sean has really only owned urban radio on his features this year so .. in a way i guess nicki couldve made bottom 5 and true dat about kanye west too but he has had multiple urban compilations

Quality. Quality. Quality.

How such a sharp decrease in quality can affect an artist so much. How going from a great album to a subpar album can affect an artist so much. I can moan and groan and say how it's not fair, but who else can I blame except the artist for their decisions?

Now, it is 2013. It's not 2012, so I'll try not to dwell on the past, but this + the Grammy's are evidence in that drop in quality.

As we look into 2013, all I ask is for quality music that was there in the release of the album in 2010.

I have to admit as a long time fan of Nicki i be hard on her. my dream for her is to succeed universally with a heavily influenced urban + rnb, album WITH SUBSTANCE ( I'M NOT TOO DELUSIONAL I WILL ACCEPT A LITTLE POP INFLUENCE). i mean conquering pop, rhytmic, and urban outlets!

The only thing that threatens my dream is the redudancy of the radio imo. i will admit with artist like Adele bringing back that substance to radio it may be easier but Once people get a taste of something pop or very commericalized that don't want anything else from a artist! it's like you want to slap the hell out of them and tell them "STOP SUCKING ON THE TIT AND GRAB A BOTTLE" they're afraid of change almost
