Iggy Azalea goes global with Adidas, "rap's first lady"
adidas Originals just unveiled its 2013 global campaign: ‘Unite All Originals’ featuring tonnes of original content by international artists from disciplines across film-making, lyrical content, 3D animation, photography, music production and more.
Here is the premiere of the first piece of content – a 90-second hero film created in collaboration with DJ/producer A-Trak and director & visual artist SoMe. The film shows A-Trak reworking his single “Landline”.
adidas has also signed Iggy Azalea and they’ve co-produced her video for Bossy Lady, set to drop soon. As a hint to this upcoming partnership, Iggy recently wore the Jeremy Scott x adidas blue puffer coat that Nicki Minaj wore in the 2012 campaign.
While we wait for her commercial version that she shot in Paris recently to drop, here's a fun new video featuring a random Iggy song on the adidas Unite website:
BOSS LADY The first lady of rap Iggy Azalea linked up with renegade artist Evan Roth for this storming collision for adidas Originals. Evan took Iggy's track 'Boss Lady', and remixed a video using stock footage from the internet. The result is a tongue-in-cheek vision of livin' like a boss.
